Accomplishments

Will has worked tirelessly for half of his life to the cause of the Metis Nation and the challenges faced by our citizens. This list is by no means exhaustive but is a sample of what Will has done not only for the Southwest Region or the Manitoba Metis Federation but also for the Metis Nation and the Red River Metis as a whole. 

Housing in the Southwest Region:

Portage la Prairie: built affordable housing - 2 seniors duplexes and a triplex for Metis families.

St. Eustache: instrumental in bringing the Metis Veterans Monument to the community. Managed 2 rental homes in the community. Worked in partnership with MMF Early Learning & Childcare to bring a state of the art childcare facility to the community.

Brandon: Property managing 3 housing units - 2 duplexes and 1 triplex - affordable housing for Metis families.

St. Ambroise: built a duplex for Metis seniors in the community. Ribbon cutting to happen very soon.

Ste. Madeleine (Binscarth): built 2 duplexes for Metis seniors in the community. Ribbon cutting to happen very soon.

Russell: purchased Regional Satellite office to be renovated.
